By default, Outlook offers ten different colors labeled with ten different
text titles (such as None, Important, Business, Personal, Vacation, etc.). The
colors cannot be changed, but the text labels can be modified to make them more
useful to you. To edit a label, do the following:
1. Choose Label from the Edit menu.
2. Choose Edit Labels from the Label submenu.
3. Click in the label field next to the label color you wish
to modify and edit as desired.
4. Click OK.
That's all there is to it - you are on your way to becoming more organized!

The newly extended MS Office XP Clipboard can now contain up to 24 objects - twice
as many as in previous versions of Office! Clipboard objects can include any type
of data that will fit in the Windows Clipboard, including graphics, text from
Word, or charts, forms and data from Excel or Access, to name a few. You can choose
to paste all or one of the 24 objects into any MS Office document.
Adding an Object to the Office XP Clipboard
The Clipboard Pane appears automatically after you have cut or copied more
than one item without a corresponding paste in between. You can also open the
Clipboard Pane manually by choosing Office Clipboard from the Edit menu. Each
item on the Clipboard is represented by an icon depicting the application it was
taken from, as well as a thumbnail view of the object.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Each time you add something to the Clipboard,
the new item will appear at the top of the Clipboard list. Once you have 24 objects
in the Clipboard, the oldest item in the Clipboard will be deleted to make room
for the new object.
Pasting an Object from the Office XP Clipboard
1. Place your cursor where you want the object pasted.
2. If necessary, open the Clipboard Pane by choosing Office
Clipboard from the Edit menu.
3. In the Clipboard Pane, click the object you wish to paste.
Deleting One Object from the Office XP Clipboard
1. If necessary, open the Clipboard Pane by choosing Office
Clipboard from the Edit menu.
2. Click the arrow to the right of the item and choose Delete.
Clearing All Objects from the Office XP Clipboard
1. If necessary, open the Clipboard Pane by choosing Office
Clipboard from the Edit menu.
2. Click the Clear All button (near the top of the pane).
Customizing
the Office XP Clipboard
The Options button (near the bottom of the pane) lets you customize the Clipboard
in a number of ways.
Show Office Clipboard Automatically, which is active by default, can be unchecked
if you would prefer that the Clipboard Pane only be opened manually.
Collect without Showing Office Clipboard, which is not active by default, can
be checked if you would prefer that the Clipboard Pane not automatically open
when you are in the middle of collecting objects.
By default, when the Office Clipboard is open, a corresponding icon will appear
in the system tray (lower right corner of your screen taskbar), and a brief message
appears each time you copy an item. You can choose to hide either of these indicators
by unchecking the corresponding commands in the Options menu (Show Office Clipboard
Icon on Taskbar and Show Status Near Taskbar When Copying).
To stop the Office Clipboard from allowing any more objects to be placed on it,
right-click on the Clipboard system tray icon and choose Stop Collecting from
the shortcut menu. This will cause the Clipboard Pane to close and the system
tray icon to disappear. When you are ready, view the Clipboard Pane (and system
tray icon) manually by choosing Office Clipboard from the Edit menu. Now YOU are
in full control of the newly enhanced Office XP Clipboard!

Carey Holzman Dear Carey,
I have a similar problem as the writer whose DiskClean was not working
properly, but, in my case, the program locks up my CPU, even after I hit 'cancel'
and the program ends - the CPU operates @ 100% and the O/S - WinXP Home - slows
WAY down. The only way to recover is to reboot - which takes an awfully long time.
I have tried your 'solution' even waiting all night to run the zip portion of
the program - trouble is this is NOT the 1st time I have used 'DiskClean'. I even
used 'sageset: 11, eliminated all options, but the program still tried to read
the compressed programs and locked up the system. This indicates to me that 'DiskClean'
has become corrupt and needs to be replaced. Is there a source for it?
Please email me with answer.
Thanks.
See if this helps/applies: Go to Start/Run/Regedit and navigate to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWARE
MicrosoftWindows
CurrentVersionExplorer
VolumeCachesCompress Old Files
Remove all the keys under "Compress old files" to get this cleanup program to
run to completion. Or you can download a regedit from here: Disk Cleanup - Compressed
Files http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double
click it and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad
by right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Carey

By Carey Holzman Hi Carey, I just
bought an EMachine that has a CDRW, but it didn't come with software like Roxio.
I know that XP has built in software, but it isn't user friendly. When I tried
to load my Roxio platinum I encounterd the problem you addressed on your site
where the recorder disappears.
Is
there a solution to the problem? A different piece of software that would work
with xp? I'm at a loss.
Thanks,
Michelle
Hi Michelle!
You will need to get the latest updates from Roxio at www.roxio.com and install
them to ensure that the version of Easy CD Creator you are running has all the
fixes necessary to work in Windows XP (Unless you are using version 6…although
there are still updates available for it as well).
With regards to the CD-RW drive disappearing, my web-site does have that problem
and resolution detailed. I will cut and paste that information here for you:
Problem: CD-ROM drives are missing and the following message
appears in the Device Manager "Windows cannot initialize the device driver
for this hardware. (Code 37)" in the details window for both my cd-rom and
cd-recordable drives.
Possible Solution: www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip
Hope this helps,
Carey
